In the gleaming city of Tevnim, where futuristic technology meets the echoes of lost kingdoms, four friends make a discovery that will alter their lives forever. Buried beneath centuries of rubble lies an ancient artifact, its dormant power humming with the secrets of a bygone era. When the friends awaken its slumbering magic, they are catapulted 150 years into the past—landing just ten years before the Great War, the conflict that will redefine the fate of magic itself.
Awakening in the bodies of the Four Knights of the Elements, the friends are thrust into the troubled Kingdom of Crniu, standing on the brink of conflict. They must navigate this world as:
Gigi, a brilliant artifact researcher, now inhabits the body of the enigmatic Knight, Lady Morgana Valtoris.
Borton, a master sharpshooter, becomes the stoic Knight of Ice, Sir Caelan Frostfall.
Devena, an innovative chemist, awakens as the fiery Knight of Flames, Lady Seraphina Ignis.
Spike, a battle-hardened soldier, assumes the role of the ferocious Knight of Earth, Sir Fenir Wilborne.
But all is not as it seems. The knights they’ve become are seen as cursed failures—outcasts believed to be the downfall of Crniu’s noble order. Branded with the mark of “Thou Shall Kill,” the friends are trapped in a prophecy that foretells betrayal and bloodshed, knowing they have just ten years before the war erupts.
With each day that passes, they struggle to wield powers they barely comprehend and decide how far they’re willing to go to prevent the tragedy they know is coming. In a world where every choice can alter history, one question haunts them:
Will they rewrite the fate of magic and become the heroes history never knew, or will they seal their new hosts' legacies as the failures that doomed an entire era?

It's a good story compared to other novels, but it gets repetitive quickly, and after 700 chapters I've had enough. The start is good, but after 200~300 chapters you can predict everything that will happen and don't feel any surprise or antecipation. The author tried to write an relaxed, laid back mc, but he created a sometimes arrogant and sometimes ignorant fool, which is also cool, but contradicts his original intention, making it annoying at times. The MC looks like a puppet to the system; if the system doesn't force him to do something the story would never progress, the MC has no motivation. Even being a culinary god is just and objective that the system has given him.The world builds is just a basic generic escalation of power, with mc going to places with greater influence/power/fools.I recommend this novel only as light reading, a fill in the gaps while you wait for other novels to be updated, without much expectations.0 0 Reply

First off I must say that the concept of the story hooked me in since I'm interested in viking culture and there isn't another novel that follows this concept that I know of. So I went into this hoping for a great novel, however the early execution of the story and character development was sub par at best which ended with me dropping the novel. My main gripes being that the author doesn't expand on why the MC has the following points or his reaction to his sudden reincarnation in the beginning of the story:1) Knowledge of Latin at a proficient level(Latin being dead language) of which I'm certain that a 'supposed' military member of the Mexican army would not know.2) Expert knowledge on medical practises and research (he mentions that he will 'explain' many diseases and their 'processes' to a random woman proclaiming herself to be a 'doctor'3) His reaction to his daughter's death after being reincarnated was unrealistic to say the least. How he just shrugs off her death and soldiers on to having a full on dialogue in latin with a random woman is just baffling to me and removes a sense of realism that ought to be there.4) Author doesn't show much of why the MC has any of the knowledge I stated above. He is only shown to have ties with the mexican army, we don't know his profession or why he was travelling to Athens with his daughter in the first place.Overall just a disappointing opening to the story and the MC in general. Many points are left unexplained and the reader is just meant to go with the flow. The MC has a weird motivation to want to continue living to and old age and conquer territory since it relates to him blaming God and religion for the deaths of his wife and daughter. The author never wrote about the MC being religious before he died as that would make more sense behind this motivation. The grammer is around average for this site but has much to be desired, an editor or spell checking would work wonders for the story. Hopefully the author can take this criticism and work on it towards future chapters and books.0 0 Reply

Interesting read, with an MC who is easily triggered. Pinyin translation doesn't really affect the quality of the story in a negative way. You'll get used to the pinyin words real fast if you're open to new things, and I guess that's the translator's style of translating so there's no need to drop it just because a few pinyin words aren't your cup of tea.0 0 Reply

2-dimensional characters, but the MC at least isn't a horn dog (at least not more than a certain degree, still acceptable). Other characters are fine but not too great. Story: Slice of life, OP, lazy MC tries not to get involved in saving the world but probably ends up saving it anyway.Nice World Background (typical Fantasy World), good Writing Quality.0 0 Reply

it's kinda weird. with a lot of simps. but looks like his gun skills can directly be used in the real world so maybe he can join the army or something.0 0 Reply

A few nice ideas but too many problems. The premise was interesting, but the characters dialogues and interactions are extremely cringe. Moreover, the pace is all over the place and the world building is full of plot holes.0 0 Reply
