As I made a review on the Lord's Empire, I'll do the same here. A short one
-A better version of the two stories that were transferred from GT, it's like their noble first born son or something. Here's to hoping they'll transfer Records of the Human Emperor as well.

This book started well, but like many of chinese books expressed some(to put it lightly) chinese supremacist ideas. It gave an in depth knowledge into chinese history and also delved into the history of other countries. All in all, it showed the effects of having godlike leadership skills. I'm motivated to invest more in my leadership skills. Ouyang Shuo, here I come.

I skimmed the Chinese lore parts because they didn't contribute much to the main story, and they weren't much of my interest.

It seems that with my comment I gave the impression that I thought it was bad, but not at all. It was just a comparison with RTW and some flaws I saw in the novel when I read it. Aside from those details, I thought the story was good and entertaining.

But if you are curious you can read the first chapters, I would say that reading the first 100-200 chapters can give you an idea of ​​the general style of the book.

honestly this was a great novel and I have read it through like 4 times now while waiting for other novels. I only have one regret and that is that it feels like the ending is kinda rushed. maybe the whole world dominion thing was getting to the point where it would be hard to keep everything straight so they decided to finish it? oh well the novel is great!

I have read about 50 chapters and the fillers are giving me a headache. If anyone knows tell me if full novel is like this or just the start

Well when you fight guns with only bamboo spears and swords thats what happened but hey.. now that imperial tiny island has reduced to become the US henchmen that cant even have their own military and china is one of the superpower countries

Greatest mistake was them inventing gunpowder but not using it to invent guns. Now it hits them in the back with small islands conquering them using guns from US.

The US had nothing do with with Japan conquering China. Us only came into the picture after Japan messed around and found out.

Did you read what I said? If Japan didn't get any gun know-how from the US that originated from their former European roots that used Chinese-invented gunpowder and a barrel to shoot bullets, it would have been impossible to invade China in the first place with their much smaller force than the Chinese.
