Hello everyone, author here. I'd just like to say thank you for all the support. Honestly, the story just went from having a few readers to getting much more. I know full well that I may not be the idle author - some may like how I write and some may dislike it. At the end of the day, it's your choice. I love writing too much to be bothered by that sort of thing. Honestly, it would not surprise me if majority of the readers get annoyed. I don't want to write something common and predictable. I want to write and love to write things that are harmonious and chaotic at the same time - that what I hope for at least. As I've said before, I'm unorthodox and a bit nuts in the head.[Sorry about that] ;pOnly thing I want is constructive criticism, things that will make me better and hopefully the story as-well. Or just post about the things that you didn't like/ obvious errors and such. I read every comment you guys post, go ahead and flame me for that matter, I'll filter out the good from the bad and hopefully make something even better for you guys instead. P.S: I've gone back and slowly begun rewriting the previous chapters; bear with me and hopefully one day, we can all laugh about this journey. I’ve been seeing a couple of reviews bashing the mc for being to cautious or not having the demeanor of an immortal cultivation and my reply to that is people like that won’ last a second in the cultivation world where a father can kill his child for talent or a mother can sell her child for benefits and keep in mind the mc has the biggest benefit that any cultivator chases that is eternal life, so yes he will hide and take his time, yes he won’t have the demeanor of an immortal cultivator and yes he is for sure not going to get himself killed and refined into a pill just so he can prove he is a big boy that everyone needs to respect and eternal life makes you a hermit by default because all those you care about will die and live you alone so excuse the mc for just chilling in the prison.Now for the proper review: the story is actua quite interesting and has an mc with a good head on his shoulder as well as a not so outrageous cheat which makes it all the more fun to read but the only problem I have with the story is the translation some words I have no idea what them mean because they are in Chinese and I just have to brush past it but I’ some chapters the translator provides the meaning at the end so that good…..well that’s the end of my review. Apologies if it is to amateur
This is the tale of a yet another sociopath whose whole pursuit in life is mostly strength. And in pursuit of it, He can forsake everything else and do any immoral acts. He feels no guilt at selling off his comrade at the expense of new informations. He feels no familal love either. Although, he is indeed evil, but he feels no need to harm others if it isn't for the sake of benefit. He also has a set of hobbies, such as reading for peace of mind. The power system is quite similar to Gu system from "Reverend Insanity" with few unique quirks. The plot follows a consistent way with no noticeable loopholes. The side characters and important ones all have a character unique to them, and quite sensible ones too. The plot isn't growing too fast and every action of our protagonist and others is descriptive and follows a logical sense. Edit: One thing I forgot to mention is that most of the side characters are, inevitably, equally or more evil than him. I have yet to see a single saint.
Author why is the mc so timid? I really hate when others authors make their mc-s like this, mc in your novel had a tough life, so he should be able to man's up and don't act like a pu..y,bad novel bad novel bad novel etc.
