Broke and destitute, Freya Wang participated in the Tests of St Vlad's Academy for the Gifted to become one of their substitute teacher.
She was sure it was not going to be easy and she was willing to work hard.
But could someone tell her why some of the kids turned into a wolf and actually howled at her?
Or why that man in all black hissed at her?
It turned out, the "gifted" meant completely different from what she had in mind.
Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, Shamans....could she quit? Yes, but she was too broke for it.
How would she teach anything?

The cover image is not mine and if you want me to take it down, just send a comment and I will.
Also, there is romance in this. I couldn't tag it for some reason so I'm doing it here. It is going to be a slow burn.

Story: Honestly, was there even a storyline? It feels like the plot revolves mostly around non-consensual situations from the start. I'm not into this type of narrative. To be frank, it seems like Hayato might have developed Stockholm syndrome. Like, seriously... there's nothing appealing about Ryuu in my opinion. How does someone fall in love with their abuser?
Art: The art style is quite dated (published in 2000), and it's not really my preference. The character designs, especially the eyes, don't resonate with me. Ryuu always has this smug look on his face, which gets under my skin.
Characters: There's not much depth to the characters. You don't really get to know their personalities or what makes them tick. They lack any real charm or development.
Enjoyment: Not at all. A few scenes had some heat, but for the most part, it was uncomfortable and hard to get through. I didn't find much enjoyment in it.
Overall: I didn't enjoy it, and I don't see myself picking it up again anytime soon.
