In a strict Puritan town, Hester Prynne is condemned to wear a scarlet letter as punishment for a secret she refuses to confess. Isolated and judged, she must find the strength to rebuild her life while protecting those she loves. But in a world where sin is unforgivable, hidden truths fester—and some secrets refuse to stay buried.

This modernized adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s classic makes the timeless tale of love, shame, and resilience accessible for today’s readers.

This review is after climbing to the most recent updated chapters around 260+. I'm loving a lot of the ideas presented in this novel. I started reading this novel because it was expressed that the things in the game change how you are in the real world. Now after reading 260+ chapters nothing, nothing has changed with him or others playing in the real world. I started reading this because of this premise and it seems like I have been let down because almost every chapter they talk about the upcoming apocalypse and people using their powers out of game, but they always talk about it in the future tense. Like honestly I don't know how much longer I can continue reading without something of note changing because otherwise this is just another regression vrmmo and I have read too many already. Author If you read this could you shed some light on this issue?

Overall bland. This more closely resembles some sort of cliche romance story, than a light novel. Needless anticipation all over the place, slow development. This novel is simply unsatisfying and unfulfilling. There you are waiting for some sort of catalyst of change, and 50 chapters later, he is no different. Worst of all, I don't know what I'm even supposed to expect. The writing is the only redeeming factor, because the standard is already garbage. I doubt most people will bother with this, there is nothing particularly enthralling, and the upload rate is also abysmal. The first chapter was probably the only good one, everything from then on, is weak. Worst of all, prefacing the novel with a warning that the protagonist would be cowardly and pathetic for the first 50 chapters is just plain moronic. Expecting people to wait 50 chapters for the protagonist to resemble anything decent is just presumptuous.

No matter what school it is, the time spent in it is a search for your identity, your own self so it's always a good topic to write about. I like your character and I wonder how he will find his own identity, and develop his powers. I am sure his journey will be as interesting as a few chaps I just read.Good luck with the contest!
