Wu Ning is the eldest miss of the Wu family who was swapped at birth with the daughter of the Lin family. Even after many years had past both families still had a close friendship because of the most favored child Lin jiayi who was the apple in everyone's eye.

In contrast to Lin jiayi, Wu Ning was an eyesore to everyone and had a very bad reputation of being useless and a disgrace to the higher class society.

The Wu family were so embarrassed that they sent their own daughter abroad to hide their shame and accepted Lin jiayi as their God daughter.
