At the brink of death, he encounters the remnant soul of the Nether Devil Undead Flame Emperor, a former supreme devil brought low by time and war. With nothing left to lose, Adler strikes a dangerous bargain: his soul and eternal servitude in exchange for the strength to destroy his enemies.

Together, they perform a forbidden ritual using a heavenly artifact of unfathomable power, the Reverse Taiji Jade. This ancient relic binds their fates, merging Adler's broken body and the Devil's essence.

The stone reincarnates Adler into a new body—one that bears a different name yet retains subtle echoes of his former self. This new form, however, comes with the burden of memories from its previous life.
