Barely seconds after he climbed the tree, the part of the object he'd been about to lick burst apart and went flying, crashing roughly onto the flower beds.
Princess Mei shouted at him from the entrance of her bedchamber. She is now wearing a white robe. Her hair is arranged simply. No ornaments can be found there except a little butterfly hairpin. No one can tell that she is the princess of the kingdom.
As Francis thinks this, his left arm falls under complete control of the demon. His arm twitches a little, which alarms the officer, who stops treating Francis. Quickly dropping the bandages, and ointment in his hand and standing up. He quickly takes out his gun, takes a step back and aims it at Francis. This novel is one of those kinds that you can (in my case) listen to for hours. The pace is steady and the writing is smooth. I miss knowing a little more about the character's feelings (I'm on chap 21), but in the other hand the world-building is great (only sometimes the names for stuff are kinda confusing and get in the way of immersion but it's not often). Long story short, it has a great start and a steady development. Keep it up Author ;)
