Zhong Yi bumped into a young boy eating cat food in the bathroom.

Zhong Yi encountered a young boy eating his meal in the bathroom. This young boy was the other male lead in the new movie he was about to shoot. He had a cold and beautiful black hair, and he was holding a spoon, focusing on eating a box of… cat food. The two of them looked at each other and were momentarily speechless. Zhong Yi pondered for a while and then came to the conclusion – well, young people in the entertainment industry, this is probably a kind of eating disorder, similar to the psychological illness of pica.

Rong Mian: “How can you help me keep this secret?”

Zhong Yi: “It’s okay, I’ll just pretend I didn’t see anything. Just act well in the movie when the time comes.”

Rong Mian: “I don’t believe you.”

Zhong Yi was very troubled: “Then… show me a random talent.”

The boy thought very seriously for a while. Then Zhong Yi watched as Rong Mian lowered his head, stretched out his hand, and slowly unzipped his pants. (Actually, it was just to show his tail)

A rogue and brainy Gong X A Shou who just wants to eat.

What a delightful little tale! The comedic misunderstandings kept me entertained, and just when I was about to lose patience, they were resolved beautifully. There's a subtle sense of incongruity, perhaps due to the protagonist's innocent and feline nature, while the male lead is kind and understanding, creating a soft, fluffy dynamic. However, there's an unbridgeable gap between them – could it be a difference in species or maturity levels? Regardless, it's a heartwarming and enjoyable read, perfect for a lighthearted escape.

The story was endearing and heartwarming, but I didn't find it particularly humorous. The author did attempt to infuse some comedic moments, but the pacing was rather slow. The resolution of the misunderstandings dragged on, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. Both main characters, the MC in both forms, didn't particularly stand out as adorable to me; they were decent but lacked charm. The male lead was average, and despite finishing the story, I couldn't rate it higher than three stars. It was an okay read, but I didn't experience much excitement while reading it. Despite its brevity, it felt somewhat lengthy at times. The plot was lukewarm, and I'm glad it wasn't longer, as I might have abandoned it halfway through.

"Absolutely 5 stars! This is an adorable and hilarious fluffy story that will have you laughing throughout. The misunderstandings are delightfully amusing as the male lead (ML) imagines dramatic scenarios based on the MC's innocent remarks, unaware of how they might be misconstrued. The MC, being a cat, possesses a feline思维方式, which adds to the charm. The narrative is concise and delightful, serving as a refreshing escape after reading something frustrating."

I yearn to believe in the reviews, but they have consistently caused me distress, leaving me emotionally drained to the point of dropping my phone and needing a moment to compose myself. Initially, the chapters were pure comedy gold; I found myself laughing uncontrollably and even playfully swatting my own face in delight. The main character, the cat (MC), is incredibly innocent and adorable. As for the love interest (ML), if only I could reach through this screen, I'd grab his virtual collar and give it a gentle shake, just for fun!
