    Sacred Ruin is by far the most entertaining story I've read. I love that the character doesn't have dramatic changes but just a slow progress of evolving. I love the other characters, I can relate with some of the villains. I like that the character is shown that he's ordinary and he has a hard time obtaining his power.

    I really tried to sit here and give the book a chance like the chara is really lame but it’s easy to ignore how he acts, I just can’t continue after his comments about the type of servants he will be having like really it’s annoying when they are just surrounded by straight women.

    There are too many cliches in this story. Cliches used to be something good when first used, but now they are just the same and not unique in some way. I could only force myself to read up to ch 10 and here is what I have to say.1) The MC got some sort of bloodline power from his mother who also got kidnapped.2) The MC's dad used to be a genius and then got crippled so both are treated like crap.3) Of course, the MC has to get bullied because he needs trashy cannon fodder enemies for the beginning of his journey4) The old weak useless caretaker also just happens to have a little girl that is just a year younger than the MC and she ends up being taken by someone related to the cannon fodder that the MC beat up I think you all get my point. However. Unique things this novel does. The little servant girl isn't some unsurpassed jade beauty. The dad gets killed off lol. Oh yeah, I forgot about the friend that the dad had who seems to be OP, but for plot was never able to help his friend and his friend's son. What a shame.It's so cliche it hurts

    It is well writen. but if you expect an overpowered mc with a op system (from the tags and title) you might be dissapointed. not many other characters systems have been introduced so far (40 chapters in) but for a majority I have thought "I would probably prefer if this was the mcs system". It is rather slow paced so he might be op in another 100 chapters, I don't know. But a lot of other humans are seemingly more op than him (he is currently ranked 20th-30th on the global leaderboard). to me that goes against the definition of OP.

    I only bother reviewing things that I actually like. This usually takes 50+ chapters. I am reviewing this after 3. The quality of the writing and character voice is significantly higher than anything else I have read here and it needed to be acknowledged. I will continue to update as I read more, but have no doubt it will continue to be excellent.
