I also dropped the novel at first a bit earlier than you but the later chapters are very good. You need to witness the rise of Black Star and his domination over the whole galaxy. It gets better and amazing. Also many novels have the issue where ending is bad, but here the ending was good - not rushed. It gets better and it ends well. Just a very good novel.

It combined alot of movies and tv shows together. It pretty good, I would say. It slow however, so dont be expecting him to be fighting like the hulk in 300 chapters.

Lovenista is a Shoujo, Smut, Romance that stands out from the typical shoujo manga's approach to love and dependency, which could have been fantastic if it had been better executed.

It revolves around Yun Morokawa, a high school girl who has struggled to maintain long-lasting relationships. Her situation changes when she encounters Hiromichi Kondou, a notorious guy at her school. However, the beginning of their relationship feels somewhat peculiar and lacks credibility. It unfolds as follows: she meets someone she wouldn't usually be attracted to, yet she inexplicably falls deeply in love with him anyway. Despite this, the various relationships depicted in the manga are quite engaging, particularly the main one, which is fraught with conflict and unexpected twists.

The central couple fits the mold of a standard school-based shoujo romance. We have the adorable but easily deceived heroine and the handsome but enigmatic hero. Both characters grapple with dependency issues, making their unconventional relationship intriguing, but their overall development falls short. The supporting characters follow a similar pattern; they're interesting on the surface but lack depth.

The most compelling aspect of this manga is undoubtedly its artwork. Significant effort has been poured into the character designs, detailed backgrounds, and the sensual romantic scenes. The characters boast well-defined features, their fashion sense is effectively portrayed, and the intimate moments are undeniably intense.

In summary, the word that comes to mind regarding Lovenista is "unrealistic." While the "make-up artist" theme complements the striking art style and the romance is captivating, it ultimately feels unsatisfying due to its predictable shoujo conclusion.

I'll keep this as brief as possible.

First, I adore this mangaka. As with most of her works, her plots and heroines offer refreshing twists on old clichés. That said, I was somewhat disappointed with this one. There was a lot of buildup leading to a rather anticlimactic ending.

The art is truly beautiful, the characters are intriguing (though slightly underdeveloped), and the story falls short. My verdict: a pleasant smutty romance that doesn't quite live up to its potential.

Personally, I derived no enjoyment from this manga whatsoever. It's certainly a distinctive and unconventional take on "romance" and "true love," but at the same time, it comes across as rather cheesy and predictable.
I might suggest it to someone seeking a fleeting romance narrative, yet honestly, it lacks depth. If you're a romance enthusiast like me, looking for more than just a simple "boy meets girl, then 'The End'" storyline, I cannot recommend Lovenista.
Moreover, I experienced no emotional connection between the characters. There was no development, and the pacing felt rushed. It was entirely unrealistic and unconvincing.
