The Land of Eternity

He had lived his entire life as an assassin, never seeing the world through his own eyes, only through the gaze of others. Thus, it was difficult for him to grasp that there might be something worth noticing outside the cage in which he had been raised.

'Ah, the moon seems unusually bright tonight,' he mused. Yet, the only time he could truly perceive beauty was in what he thought would be his final moment.

'It's a shame I’m dying before I get to enjoy this refreshing breeze!'
