Yes, the premise is similar to many other stories on the Recommendations list. It follows the typical "overpowered girl reincarnated into a trash/waste, then proceeds to conquer the world while attracting powerful and handsome male leads" narrative.
What sets this story apart is that the female protagonist isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She doesn't hesitate to eliminate threats, often in graphic and brutal ways. The author doesn't spend much time on minor characters, opting instead to dispatch them quickly with a sentence or two.
The story has a darker tone, with cruel punishments and regular exploitation of the disadvantaged, which adds depth to the setting. Unlike other novels that might gloss over the details, this one vividly describes the harsh environment.
There is a budding romance with the male lead, who is the King of Hell. He is powerful enough to put the female protagonist in a vulnerable position, and he is the one character she can't fully control. Even early in the story, he begins to show her some affection.
While the story avoids filler content, the chapters are relatively short, making it a quick and engaging read that keeps you turning the pages.
I would give it 3 stars. One reason is that it has quite gruesome and bloody scenes, and another is that the fighting isn’t described in much detail. The story mostly revolves around a girl who time travels, is a doctor, and becomes a hero. Each chapter is relatively short. The translators do an excellent job, making the grammar easy to understand.
I used to love anime as a kid but grew out of it because I felt it was more for children. However, this Chinese novel, along with others, is incredibly addictive to read. I enjoy reading Chinese novels because they delve deep into characters' thoughts and feature more dialogue compared to manga.
- A ruthless, decisive overpowered female lead who doesn’t take anyone’s crap (at least initially, before she started letting people off the hook after dealing with her "family").
- An awesome, overpowered male lead who mercilessly sends villains to their doom.
- A powerful cultivation system with the female lead acquiring numerous treasures and legacies.
- Adorable yet fierce pet beasts (though they became less impressive later and their constant chatter and food obsession got annoying. Her fox also gets kidnapped and tortured twice).
Then, around chapter 1618, the author decides to extend the novel by another 2000 chapters. Just as the main characters finally get married—no wedding night, of course—everyone is killed off, and the story resets. The surviving characters are scattered and lose their memories of each other. The leads don’t reunite for 10 years! Who wants to read about the separated main characters for thousands more chapters? I stopped reading after the wedding because I can’t stand authors who drag things out just to prolong the story. What’s the point of the female lead building her strength and being so amazing if she’s just going to get beaten up?
Additionally, the author is incredibly inconsistent. In the beginning, it seemed the female lead could physically enter her space, but the author doesn’t have her use it to escape dangers until the attack on her wedding. She gets drugged and kidnapped (which happens way too often for someone supposed to be a godly doctor). The little piggy, fearing for her safety, wishes her to be safe, allowing him to pull her into the space. The female lead is surprised she can enter the space, for reasons I didn’t understand. Then, the author imposes limitations, stating she can only stay in the space for an hour and can’t use it again for seven days. Hello, author, did you forget her brother has been staying in her space since she rescued him?
For some reason, female Chinese authors won’t let their main characters stay in a happy relationship while dominating the world. There always has to be some kind of separation. It’s really exhausting and frustrating.

The main character is incredibly overbearing. While some readers might enjoy that, I find it hard to appreciate. Technically, I shouldn’t have rated the story yet since it’s still early to make a final judgment. So far, the plot has been quite predictable, with the female assassin transmigrating into a previously weak character’s body and catching the attention of the intended male lead. I’ll keep reading and adjust my rating as the story progresses.
I understand that this type of scenario might appeal to teenage girls, but I really can’t stand it. Apart from these “hot” moments, the plot offers little substance. The ML is overpowered (OP), and the MC becomes very OP very quickly. She’s yet another earth-shattering beauty with an unlimited internal space, years of experience in cooking nutritious dishes, and, of course, she is universally hated. I dropped the novel around chapter 130 without any regret.
I apologize if I have offended anyone, but I felt it was important to be transparent about these concerns.
Again, I apologize.
The narrative flows well, seamlessly connecting with the previous parts of the story, ensuring that readers won't get confused while following along.
I highly recommend finishing it until the very end.
It’s a shame that the novel is no longer being translated. Despite the ML’s overbearing nature, I still enjoyed the novel and would have continued reading it to the end.
