The transgressions of humanity seemed to invoke a great calamity upon them, or so they believed.

Then the Supernatural Emergence occurred.

Supernatural beings began to emerge from nowhere, forcibly claiming half of Earth and massacring any humans who crossed their paths. All were too powerful; dozens of countries fell under their diabolic rule. Humanity was pushed to the brink.

But fortune began to turn when humans started awakening to magical powers.

Those who awakened these god-blessed powers became known as Awakened, becoming the pillars of humanity.

Rex Silverstar is a normal boy with a traumatic past. On the day of the Supernatural Emergence, a Werewolf took everything from him. He lost his family and home, left alone in this cruel world. What drives him each day is his deep hatred for the Supernaturals.

Joining the military at an early age to help exterminate the Supernaturals, he discovered it was impossible to kill the Werewolf responsible for his parents' death without being an Awakened.

On a fateful night, near death, the full moon offered him a chance.

This marked a turning point in his life. Rex obtained a System that allowed him to grow stronger, potentially matching and surpassing the Supernaturals. He was ecstatic until he saw his stats window.
