this isn't my normal go to book, but i love adb's books and habe ywt to be disappointed and so far she is proving my faith right because i am quite enjoying this romantic tale of opposites attracts, but i know she got some twists and turns lurking around lol

I liked the idea of him getting powers from being a gourmand, and the fact that he was old seemed like it could add some spice, but yea nah. This ain't it chief. within the first 10 chapters there's so much inconsistency it ain't worth reading.

A second review note just to make few things clear after seeing how some are still confused whether MC is evil or not.I mentioned in my previous review note that MC will definitely be a 'Demon' and that means he will be doing demonic things. This is also why I added the tag "Dark" to let readers know that things ain't going to be moralistic or flowery for the most part.As for my definition of evil it means someone who does bad stuff for no remotely compelling reason at all just like how some just like to watch the world burn for no reason. (Of course, some of you might have a different interpretation)But the MC of this novel isn't like that. He does everything for a reason no matter how twisted or illogical it might seem. That is why I didn't add the 'Evil' tag but sure he will be doing a lot of evil things according to our society.The harem also won't be a typical harem filled with only wholesome moments. I am not saying there won't be wholesome moments but the romance and harem dynamic...well, they are going to be not so mainstream as well.I hope this answers most of the questions people were previously confused about. Reitz had become worried by the state they were in. He was contemplating on whether to brute force and expend all his magic to push forward. It seemed they had gotten in a worse situation, than before. It was frustrating that every tactic they did was met with a response by the enemy. These beasts seemed very intelligent and could organize in such a way that they would be pushed further back at the expense of their lives. It was as if they had reached a point of no return and thus Reitz wanted to gamble.
