The Hollow Sky

Ok so i read this series on a different site and i'm actually at chapter 598 right now. I have to say that this is a very patriotic story about china. The main character has a system where the more he spends the better the benefits. Also the main character is a happy go lucky guy who doesn't get into fights on purpose and doesn't try to piss everyone off. I have to say that even though the names of the various countries are changed slightly the story likes to focus on how Japan and America are the bad guys out to destroy china by the way they are represented. The ambiance of this story is good if you ignore all the nationalism and even though the theme of being lucky is repetitive, the story isn't.

I looked at the title and for some reason, unknown to god! thought Australia.Then I saw that author was Australian.Then I laughed for longer than I’m willing to admit.This has been my ted talk.

I recommend that you dont read this, unless you are a masochist, and can endure the pure cringe that happens through out the novel. Its characters are meh. And the story is meh. Its how these two intertwine that makes this annoying to read.

The MC's power level are inconsistent, in the begining he was able to defeat a high level opponents, as he gains more levels and stats he was finding it harder to defeat his opponents, the author doesn't explain how the stats are related to the cultivation level, he was able to defeat some mid level opponents with his stats below 10, when his stats are 100+ he was having trouble with the same level of enemies

Honestly, i do agree like the others that this novel has potential but there are just details you put in there that made me drop it. the thing that irritates me the most was the switch with classes. assassin gets a hunter master class and a hunter gets an assassin master class. You might have reasons or plans for this but its seriously putting me off. also i honestly dont get how a real life super assassin bullies guilds with hundreds of players while he couldnt even kill a team with 3 players who somehow could launch a surprise attack on him. Try to be consistent or at least put in more attention to details.
