This is, by far, one of the most captivating novels I've come across in a concise number of chapters. The translation is seamless, and the author's skill in presenting characters and establishing the world's dynamics is impressive. Although the character introductions initially seem a bit convoluted, the author gradually unravels the confusion through their dialogues, piquing readers' interest in the intricate world-building. The main characters remain shrouded in intrigue, as their curiosity drives their interactions without delving too deeply into each other's secrets, respecting personal boundaries. I particularly appreciate stories that leave room for speculation, encouraging readers to actively engage with the plot as they piece together the mysteries.
This would be a good time for Brendan to find out who's the master mind backing Charlene, finding Dee's mom, is her father alive or not, Brendan's mom living years longer, Dee getting her eyesight back, her having boy and girl twins, they finally get remarried, and living happily ever after.
