It is a pity that this novel was ruined by the arrogant I have a plot armor so I do what I want sickness.The MC and his disciples ignore all rules and get away with it because they have the bigger fist.Example MC does not kill enemy Elder during a big event because that would be against the rules, but next second he helps his disciple to kill him in front of an exam venue full of people.The MC and his disciple might be justified, but they literally flaunt their ability go break the rules because they are stronger as often as they can.It makes no sense for the MC to hide inside a sect mountain and not look for disciples to increase his strength. He can see the talent of others.The entire origin story of the MC, or better the truly exciting parts of this story, get skipped and the novel starts with an OP MC taking in his 3rd and most brainless disciple.This could have been great, but it is just trash.
honestly, I got lost in the 3rd chapter, after he got dissed by EVA and made that trash coin pouch, I just couldn't continue after that, the 'flavor' of the writing was a little off for me too
Fang Zheng xD looks like Fang Yuan’s brother is moving up in this world, hopefully he has rid himself of that pesky inferiority complex haha...(It’s a reference to Reverend Insanity, great novel, go read it i really reccomend it, no offense to the author or translator intended but the name was just so recognizable i had to make a joke)5 stars cause i haven’t read it yet.
First of all, it’s been dropped. It’s pretty funny a the start but It gets dragged on more and more each arc which gets boring. The multiple POVs aren’t well written especially when the MC isn’t actually the MC but his master according to how much the author spends time writing in the master’s POV. I was pretty disappointed as I wanted to see mc grow but the pace of the story was so slow he didn’t do much if anything at all after 100 ch. conclusion, 80% is centred around the master e.g. limelight, women, funny parts and POV, 10% is fang yu, 5% in fang lin (the MC) and the other 5% are the other characters.
This was a surprise. A good one. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a novel in the Teen genre and I’m pretty sure I’m still clueless. However, I am still reading. I truly enjoy all the characters. The FL and ML are great. The villains are intriguing. The author gets a thumbs up cuz I do like this Kdrama type rollercoaster without as much angst in the storyline. Does that even make sense??! Teen and Kdrama without so much angst????! Thank you author. Other people don’t sleep on this novel. Read it for 10 minutes just so you know.
Everyone hates the FL and everyone who doesn't is so annoying you end up hating them. There's not a single likable character in this novel. There's no plot.The whole novel is about the FL encountering characters that hate her and wants to scheme against her but end up falling flat on their faces. If you like that sort of thing, I guess you're in for a treat. But it's not my cup of anything.
