In a cosmos governed by ancient divine laws, Evolis was once revered as the God of Adaptability and Growth—a deity whose unique essence allowed him to evolve and nurture potential beyond measure. Betrayed and banished by a jealous pantheon, his divine memories were sealed away, forcing him into a mortal rebirth. Now, with striking black hair and enigmatic golden eyes that hint at a forgotten glory, Evolis embarks on a relentless quest to reclaim his lost divinity.

Haunted by fragmented recollections of his celestial past, he navigates a world teeming with magical races, corrupted deities, and cosmic intrigues. His sharp wit, unyielding arrogance, and shamelessness to match make him a character who cannot be bested in any debate. A pivotal duel awakens a spark of his dormant self, setting him on a path filled with secret inheritances and ancient relics that gradually reveal his true nature.

As Evolis struggles to piece together his fragmented legacy, every step forward draws him deeper into a struggle against the corrupt divine order—a conflict that will ultimately challenge the very fabric of the heavens and reshape the destiny of all realms.

This is one of the most unique and interesting Novels I’ve read. The power system is different and characters feel more than cardboard cutouts, and the story Also flows in a way that it doesn’tdepend on cliches and plot devices. Unfortunately it’s almost as if the story is too unique. It has too much going on  at one time that it becomes confusing, in the first 10 chapters you don’t know if it’s going to be a generic urban fantasy or a sci-fi drama. It overwhelms the reader with to many components of the  story at the same time. I think the author focused too much on trying to be different that he/she bit off more than they can chew and it becomes confusing. For the first chapters of the story, it feels like there isn’t a plot and thing just happens; so as a reader and hard to follow the story. The reader isn’t allowed to infer what’s going on in the story and understand the emotions of the MC and other characters because the author jus tells us, it’s almost as if we are not reading story but a summary of things that happened. In conclusion I fell the author bit more than he can chew and didn’t give a chance for the plot to flow naturally. Oddly enough I kinda wish the author took a more cliched and generic approach and build upon it so we can, as readers can understand the story better. Sometimes it’s better to take a well trodden path and build on it than to build your own and forget to enjoy the scenery on the way. Best if luck and to the author ✍️ hope you keep writing this great novel

Stats and First impression:-Website: Qidian CNStatus: Ongoing with about 2900+ chaptersViews: 3.57 MillionRecommendations: ~60 ThousandNo. of Works: 2Rating: 8.8/10 from 47 usersWhy did they sanction another cliched novel to be translated? I know cliches can't be avoided but it can be covered up with better writing but this novel is one of those which has a stale plot and cardboard characters, I'm sure of it after reading the raws.... Who decides on the novels to be translated? Don't they have better taste? There are clearly better novels out there but why sanction this novel containing recycled plot. Guys CN readers have rejected this novel! Do you know how? Look at the no of chapters, its close to 3000 chapters but  look at the no of ratings, its only 47. Compare the no of views with recommendations, its 3.6 million views against 60 thousand recommendations. It clearly suggests that readers only bothered to check this novel out when they didn't have anything better to read and they didn't even bother to recommend it to others or even rate the novel for that matter. If you like transmigration CN fantasy novels with a stale plot and cardboard characterizations, then this novel is certainly for you!

what the heck? why has nobody made a review yet? ok so let me be the one, here my two words of wisdom:I've rated this novel based on author's other novel, will update in the future. This novel is set in the same universe as "villain cultivator"(one of the best novels on this site), its based on a cat diety (according to the author). now as the intro said the vrmmo isn't a game its an actual universe and players just transferred there(yes, the players can revive unlive the "NPCs"). Though the quest system and NPC favourablity works in a very different way, after they are NPC just in name. One more thing, even though it most probably won't affect this novelif you don't read it, i  would recommend you to check out villain  cultivator. adios

The reviews make this seem great but all the 5 stars are bs.  I’m barely on chapter 4 and there are already hella problems. 1 problem is that Jack disrespects the KING AND WALKS OUT OF THE CASTLE AFTER “convincing” A GUARD?  Even if this is a fantasy, that’s already BS.  And on chapter 4, Jack doesn’t want people to know he’s a hero but when the branch leader yells out”. Hey Brat!  Are you the hero?”  Jack yells out “yeah, what of it?”  This sh*t already made me lose so many brain cells and it’s only the 4th chapter

Descriptive novels is a quality novel but this novel while beginning is done really well I gets a bit over board as plot progressed. While the mc seems full with emotions and personality, it is really empty as mc seems to be a programmed robot with each decisions and actions done without any real thought. Also different perspective being jumbled without any structure and flow, felt like reading this and that jumping between back and forth...Is like watwatching a movie made with best visual technology and plot but without colour and sound at the same time with random rewinding and forwarding.
