"I guess you really don't ha-" started the Emissary, when suddenly, "Boom" a small boom sounded out, like a tiny firecracker. The ball lit up like the sun, filled with a gold light, the air above him coalesced into a golden clock, ticking away. A soft whisper forced through the wind, slowly getting louder. Before them, Teo appeared, covered in a white, gold, and blue armor. Shocked, they fainted...
Insoo: She's some foreign girl, a friend of Seyong's current pick up and she doesn't quite understand my Korean what with her being drunk. I don't know how to let her down nicely in English.
"This is not so important. Your training will be first line consist of better use of your healing abilities. You are here under our protection, not as one of our members and you don´t have to perform any combat training if you don´t want to... unless of course you decide that you want to join us," Darien informed her. "I will leave now and return my `full attention´ to my new charge you have brought me." With this words his secondary body simply vanished.
Here is my thought about this book based on 1-10 chapters:World Building: The world building is good with the description of the high advance technology, planet craddle and the atmospjere of the world. The author also give the world situation too. I really like the mystery of the cube and I hope the author can fleshed out even more for that. I also like the first chapter set up the mystery of the shard.Characters: Elias for me is a quite good protagonist, but I suggest to flesh him out espefially related to his backgrpund and paat. A for the side characters such as Elara is nice with her role as the besr friend for the protagonist and the shard too.Pacing: Based on my experience, the pace is quite slow, but I believe rhe author wanted to create a neat build up that connected the story altogether.Overall, if you a fan of sci fi, I recommended to check this book.
