The Fadeologist

College student, Kris Fireborn sleeps, eats, works, and gets good grades. After a long day at work, she stumbles upon someone crying for help. In an attempt to save them from a demon, she was pulled into a world of corrupted gods. The person she tried to save is a warrior who fights these demons. Unable to return to her old life, Kris will now have to train to become what they call a "Fadeologist". Short preview: Nexus. This is a bond that can be made with every living thing. There are some creatures that use this bond to get more power. These greedy beings are called, "Demons." Born or created; they use Nexus's to take away and feed off of humans to power themselves. A nexus connects a human to a demon; it can kill humans once it's broken. There are creatures that fight against these demons. They are known as "Givers". For hundreds of years, Givers have fought against the demons, but the numbers started to decrease little by little. Givers began to select humans with ultimate potential to become warriors against the demons. They bless them with a mark known as, "The Mark of DuesIgnis". A power that knows no limits, once it's mastered. Though, not a single human has master "The Mark of DuesIgnis" for over two thousand years. The Givers train these humans to protect other humans from the demons. They use a power called, "Oracles" that can be harnessed into that being's weapon. These people are called, Fadeologist...
