Really like this story (I'm lovin' it). MC is a gal doing her best to survive in a sequence of post-apocalyptic worlds. Story begins at McDonald's where MC confides in her BFF that her boyfriend is probably trying to kill her/is dangerous. Then the apocalypse (temperatures above what humans can naturally survive, hence her world is called Hyperthermal Hell) for her world descends that night, and she ends up killing her BF, who was trying to literally eat her in a not fun way, with her Post-Human abilities that she recently got. She tried to help her BFF, but found her "dead" before she arrived, and she runs into others (first companions) who have been through other New Worlds, and they give her a run-down on what they know. The multiverse is going through a sequence of Post-Worlds where suddenly an apocalypse descends and forces humans to adapt into Post-Humans (they develop various passive and active abilities to aid in their survival and thriving of the New World phenomenon), perish, or "die" and turn into a "duoluozong" (ex-humans that only retain the negative aspects of their beings, thus ****** them hostile and dangerous to other Post-humans). Duoluozongs remain in that world where they have adapted to suit that environment, and Post-Humans must survive 14-months in each New World before being transported to their next one at random (only exception is an ability dubbed "Consular Officer" where they generally cannot adapt any further once they develop this ability, but they can issue "Visas" to other worlds, a few months before the onset of its Post-World, to others besides themselves). I suck at reviews, but just know that I rate it highly. I like it so much that I vote for it on the power ranking every time so more people can read it.
As a fan of novels that let you turn your brain or live out your power fantasy I still found this novel to be lackluster the writer is not using his genre to his full potential and abuses the simplest shortcuts it provides. The most boring aspect of this novel is the overly blank slate protagonist. Overall it’s a very good concept it just needs iron out in many places this novel reminds me of a story I tried to write but didn’t have enough time for. Wish this novel was done better but good job to author for getting his work out there
Extremely superb I love the plot that he was reading story for dead person awsome. And when he sniffed the poison I want new volume I am curiously waiting for its new volume
I really like your content so far. You attention to detail is what i find most intriguing. I liked the character arc of the protagonist and the direction his story is heading. Its looking good overall and i am eagerly waiting for the next one
Dong Xian blinked his eyes multiple times while he scanned through the analysis. Was this not too much words? Normally, the system kept it short and simple by just noting down the name and the effects. But, this was simply too ridiculous, is it not? What more with how many times this 19th version has been copied, the book itself still has so much power, even if it is covered in cobwebs. How strong would the original manual be?
