It's alright, though it has its flaws. The main character is quite clever, devising strategies for both his sister's welfare and countering his foes. He isn't afraid to utilize influential sects or his own protagonist status to achieve his goals. However, the issue lies in the disproportionate amount of intellect attributed to the MC. The protagonist is practically a fool, fixated solely on the MC's sister, who reciprocates that infatuation despite their half-sibling relationship. Their antics with other characters can range from entertaining to tedious, depending on the specific scene.

I've been pondering what exactly captivated me about this novel. The romance aspect is practically non-existent and quite unsatisfactory; it's almost like an afterthought. Initially, the introduction was harsh, yet it effectively established the main character's traits. He's practical and self-centered, but surprisingly grounded compared to many other protagonists I've encountered. Surprisingly, without giving away any spoilers: there are instances where he calls out the female characters for having low self-esteem, effortlessly turning them down before they even get the chance to confess.

While I wouldn't consider this a groundbreaking masterpiece, as a Chinese wuxia novel, this particular beginning has certainly stood out among the ones I've read. I'm hopeful that the rest of the story maintains this strong foundation.

This narrative stands out due to its well-crafted protagonist who relies on meticulous planning,不同于寻常作品中的强角色。

Firstly, I couldn't locate a complete Chinese novel version, which hindered my ability to read it fully through Google Translate. Regrettably, I am currently on hold until the English translations catch up, as there are 388 chapters available at the moment of this review.

The story, although not centered around an overpowered protagonist, adheres to its title, showcasing the transformation of the main character's sister, or disciple, into a powerful figure, symbolizing her rise like a phoenix. The narrative shares similarities with "Ending Maker," where the protagonist enters a game knowing its plot, utilizing that knowledge as an advantage. Our protagonist employs his game insights to manipulate events and gain benefits.

The relationships between the main character and supporting characters are portrayed well, but occasionally, they serve as plot devices when the author faces a storytelling roadblock. To move the story forward, forced romantic subplots are employed, which can be less enjoyable to read. However, these instances are relatively minor and do not significantly detract from the overall reading experience.
