The MC is ubsurdly obtuse. You can ignore it if you want and maybe it improves later but as of now it's a very grating read. The writing quality it also quite terrible with whole paragraphs being added that don't need to be there at all. An obvious ploy to inflate the word count. E.g. "Either he could stay here for eternity, or he could jump in the strange river and try to swim for an unknown amount of time. And now, the third option was available, which was to get in the boat and let the Spector take him."This is very early on and when you read this paragraph in context you'll see that absolutely nothing is added. In a way that's almost impressive. As I said maybe it gets better later but early on (~c17) it's just a bad read. As always there's much more that can be said but most of it is negative and you get the general jist.
This is just another trash novel. It's one of those stories written by authors who want to make quick cash. There is a lack of common sense, quick tempered MC , dimwits of other characters among other other features of trash novels. Plus it has one thing I truely hate,a combination of technology in martial world.
The first problem is the name of the MC, a western name among asiatic names is just a big NOβ¦The second problem is the Copy Paste of the novel of Martial World.Third if any of u read the Novel of Nano Machine the system is just a copy of that one with diferent name and a twist but the sameβ¦Fourth and main problem the autor is selling us a chinese name in the Sinopsis just to find out that his name is Victor like really man. This is getting one star for the reason i cant give a 0.
Overall I think the novel is really good except for the fact the author or translator changed the names to western names which sounds horrible trying to use them as Easter names
The story actually sounds quite interesting but every chapter I read it turns out to be more and more confusing.Real world people appear as NPS's inside the gameworld. Nothing is explained, while you get more and more information that is just not relevant for the current story progress. Lots of things don't make much sense.
typical________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________meaning just like the hundreds of novels with the same theme, just normal, not unique at all.
