Lucian Rexton is the ruthless Alpha who is overprotective of his pack but is just and well respected. His forest green eyes are mesmerizing and have broken many hearts. When he comes of age, though, he had to leave his playboy ways to be true to his mate, Mia. He loves his mate dearly and feels that he finally has everything he can ask for. Esmeray is a mermaid. Mated to the sea prince, Triton, she is happier than ever and is excited to be the future Queen of the sea. She loves him with all her heart and Triton makes her happy in ways she can't fathom. But one mistake causes her to get lost in a land she has never seen before. She meets Lucian and when she does, she knew that nothing will ever be the same again. And why does Lucian finds himself wanting to kiss the strange girl he had rescued from the sea? They shouldn't feel this way because they aren't mates. I'm starting to get worried of the MC for cultivating the Bug Controlling Technique. Also, Old Master Lin, how vicious of you to use such a method to make MC train! Well, I too feel that MC needs some development so I think this is fair. Also, the Yin Demon

Route 20 is a manga centered around a young member of a biker gang and the various troubles he encounters. The narrative unfolds in a somewhat erratic manner, with frequent changes in direction. However, this approach works to its advantage, as it mirrors the chaotic lifestyle of the protagonist, effectively setting the tone for the manga. Each scene is crafted with engaging, almost cinematic storytelling.

The artwork is commendable, featuring unique and expressive character designs that are both striking and memorable. Additionally, the inclusion of cool robot and futuristic car designs enriches the world-building, complemented by backgrounds that, while minimalist, remain visually appealing. The art is detailed overall, yet there are moments where it feels slightly lacking. Nonetheless, it remains visually pleasing.

The characters develop into intriguing figures, and by the conclusion, I found myself eager to explore more of their stories. This leads to one of the manga's shortcomings. Despite my appreciation for it, I was left craving more content. Each chapter is exceedingly brief, spanning only 8-15 pages, with the entire manga totaling approximately 60 pages.

A short one-shot can be captivating when executed properly, but here, the reader is just beginning to engage with the characters and storyline. After strong introductions, the story abruptly concludes, leaving a desire for continuation that is unfulfilled.

In summary, Route 20 offers a rapid journey through a rich and fascinating world, boasting attractive art and compelling characters. However, it lacks direction and ends without a satisfying conclusion. Its brevity makes it feel like the opening episodes of a longer series that never continued, rendering its positive aspects somewhat disappointing due to their untapped potential.
