They could also take it indirectly by doing magic Hulu and absorbing the spirit itself, but it is too difficult for young and week demons- only stronger ones can do so. The after party of doing such is also pretty morbid as taking the spirit will be like wringing out a piece of cloth. You squeeze it real tight so there is high chance of blood, organs, and bones splattering everywhere from the muscle and skin. don't get me wrong they don't squeeze the body, the squeezing of the body is an automatic response of the body itself. Like air vacuumed out of a bottle.
Fighting out of the tangles of his sheets, he rose like a zombie, and tripped, catching his elbow on his bedside table. As he flung his arm out, cursing, to break his fall, the alarm clock, still ringing, plummeted off the table and proceeded to try to flee across the floor, evading his flailing arms. Eventually, he managed to leave the floor, cradling his wounds, and struggle into his shirt, fumbling the buttons.
"Sorry, Marge," he muttered, untying the ropes. I was then able to wiggle free from the tightness. "Things are growing tough nowadays, and it would be very strange if I would just walk up to you and start talking to you. Look," he rummaged through his drawer and took out a parcel wrapped in green gift wrapper. "Here's your belated birthday gift, cookie." He threw the parcel at me, and I caught it. I felt giddy. Finally, a birthday present. I kept in my backpack, careful not to squish it.
one of the stories that tempted me to spend my money! (and i did) it’s a super slow burn with a lot of roller coaster of plots going on. author dived into the depth of each characters with their own importance into the many plots that’s revolved around the mc alone. mc is the all-rounder, tho with a bit flaw but that’s normal. i hope there’s a bit character development for certain characters. love this so far!
