Leo has dedicated most of his life to crafting the story of his dreams. Realizing he is on his deathbed, there is only one person he trusts with the characters he's poured his soul into—his younger sister, Shore.

In Leo's story world, humans and demi-humans, known as "Denizens," coexist in relative harmony within the grand capital, Kast Legari. However, not all is well. Tensions rise between humans and Denizens due to the emergence of special powers called "Jitters," which create divides among the populace. Additionally, horrific beings known as "Lurkers" terrorize the world.

The very foundation of this world is threatened when Ren encounters a Lurker unlike any he has ever seen. What he and his friends discover about it will change everything they know about the fragile world they inhabit.
