Son of a slave

The story starts off as cliché but gets very interesting, I can't wait for the MC to at least stop being an ugly, destroyed old man and become a tidy old man.

Writing quality isn't that great and lots of artificial word count inflation via unnecessary convoluted descriptions and caracter reintroductions at the start of nearly every chapter that sometimes take up as much as 1/4th of the chapter.What also annoyed me a little bit was the use of German names without actually properly researching their meaning. Like poltergeist. The author used it as a name for the telepathy (which is fine by itself) ability and acted like it was obvious what the ability does just from the name. no it wasn't. The defining characteristic of poltergeists is that they never manifest, so they cannot be perceived apart from their activity, not that they throw things around. Direct speech can also be confusing to follow as the author doesn't make it clear who is speaking and just randomly breaks up direct speech into multiple paragraphs even though it's still the same caracter speaking, which makes it seem like it's another caracter talking. I tried to give this book the benefit of the doubt and bought a couple paywalled chapters. The writing didn't get better, and the word padding also didn't stop. It's fine if you don't care about the free chapters as they don't make you any money, but selling people something of this quality for 11 coins per chapter is just straight up insulting your readers.

I decided to start over from chapter 1 - This is a good book at least in terms of quality, in terms of quantity and update stability it is crap. I would love to read this book more and I am sure plenty of others would as well, but the updates are so rare it just doesn't make it worth the wait. Author if you read this please update more frequently as I am sure plenty of people would read the book.

Honestly the dynamic of the relationship between the MC and her group is rather enjoyable. Instead of making everyone flock to the MC they have a girlfriend, as problematic as the relationship is proving to be. Beyond that the world has a good grasp of what's going on and as people come in more information is put out in an easy, understandable, and believable manner. I'm looking forward to see what else comes up from their trip plus how they deal with the problem they created. Thank you author and I am excited for more chapters.
