Wood chopping might not be the best way to meet your Party Leader, but for Icarus, meeting Basila offered him a new life.

Now, armed with a system, he can choose a path of riches!

The Path of the Smuggler. The Path of the Dungeon Merchant!

But control is tight in the lands of the elves. Adventurers are outlawed, executions are swift and without a trial.

Good thing that Icarus is a horselord and Basila is a businesswoman!

For them, the word NO is just the word YES spelled wrong!

And may the Winds of Change blow the stagnation which is suffocating their country away!

I loved the novel. I have been reading it since it came out as a trial read and had the privilege 25 chapter unlocked every month to catch up in chapter. it was a really good read and I enjoyed every min of it. the character development was missing a bit but I really loved the MC Qi Ming and the style of an overpowered MC.

A very interesting novel with Game nuances. When I read it, I thought the main character was a woman, the cover was very trapping. And use a good first person point of view as if I as a reader feel included in your story.

I would say this book is ok, but I personally dislike how unloving his family is, and his mother is even going through something to where she does horrible things to him. Eh, everything else is pretty good though, is he basically going to be the new demon king

Well I'm very happy about no romance plotline. The MC is a girl and it is rare.I LIKE HOW SHE IS NOT A STUNNING BEAUTY.Actually I really hope this will be a good thing to read. And it is a little intriguing.

Its an interesting premise and I like the characters different emotional perspectives. Though there are a fee grammatical errors, it doesn't confuse the reader. I wish you the best on your book Author 👍

As of chapter 21: pretty good start. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings like other reviewers have said especially due to the naming in volume 1. Pacing and length seems on track for regular novel length which is a nice change of pace from the typical length of webnovels: appallingly long (which isn’t a bad thing, just hard to get used to). Also volume 1’s ending was pretty surprising! I like the twist. Grammar and writing is pretty good. As for cons: classic case of telling instead of showing; for example in volume 2 instead of saying weird things are happening I want to follow the characters on a day and see them react to the weird things and hear them lampoon ’wow this is getting really old’ and infer myself that this has been becoming a problem before any exposition starts happening… sometimes it feels like I’m reading a summary report rather than a novel. The other thing is in volume 1 everyone repeats the same platitudes every chapter: it will be dangerous but you are not alone… well but a lot of these problems should be resolved as the author gets more writing experience :) enjoying the story.
