Shades of the Unseen is a story about the ones left behind.
In every grand tale, some figures exist only in passing-side characters in someone else's narrative, their lives reduced to brief mentions and fleeting appearances. But what happens when the curtain shifts and the spotlight turns to them?
This is a novel about those who were once overlooked. The ones who stood on the edges, whose voices were drowned out by larger stories, whose struggles, victories, and quiet moments never had the chance to be seen.
Through intertwining lives, fractured pasts, and uncertain futures, Shades of the Unseen brings their stories to light. Some seek closure, others redemption, and some simply wish to be acknowledged. But in a world that moves forward too fast, do the forgotten still have a place?
A novel about remembrance, about voices long unheard, and the weight of being unseen.

There are frequent grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book, however that isn't the worst part. After chapter 133 or so it drastically changes the story. Instead of fang Chen we get Jian. instead of the martial spirits cultivation system, we get the usual core formation and nascent soul cultivation system. It's like the author accidentally switched up projects and pasted the wrong book.0 0 Reply

Compared to True Martial World's translator, the translator of this novel is way too greedy. While comparing their translations on both novels, the translations on this novel is subpar with a lot of grammatical errors. If you're going to compare it to TMW's smooth translation and not google translated which you can read from 7-11 spirit stones per chapter and unlocks after a week or so where you can read it for free, this novel's beyond compare and beyond redemption. Though a lot of people are still reading this novel (well, me included) this novel is becoming like those novel that are being dragged too much to become a milking machine for the author/ttanslator. 1.1k plus chapters and the protaginist is still a weakling. And the stroy being too much of a repetition. That's a hell of snail paced and over hyped and mainstream chinese novel for you.0 0 Reply

Brain dead MC with an indestructible plot armor.People says don't go more than 3 meters deep (because its very dangerous) but he does anyway.Butts in to other peoples business for no reason and the only thing he gains is enemy.Has an opportunity to learn skills ; he chooses the books based on their names. Not even opening the book to check out the descriptions or anything. Not to mention author making mc's soul beast look like a joke so that others can mock him.OH and mc never questions about the world he lives in, techniques that he's using.(If you don't know, ask your teacher... smh)Don't bother reading this.....100ch+0 0 Reply

I have to say, as a massive fan of the Zelda video games I absolutely loved this! Gave me serious Breath of the Wild vibes. Loved the idea of goblins and creatures suddenly appearing from all over the world, and temples which have to be cleared to level up and progress - straight out of an RPG game. The fight scenes as the protagonist battles his way through small hordes of goblins are all great, as diverse as can be in various sword tactics and very well-written. I liked how the protagonist has developed from a meek child and is transforming himself into the hero of the piece as he discovers he has a natural ability to defeat the goblins and is growing in strength the more enemies he defeats. Really great stuff so far. This story has a really pacy opening and has limitless potential to go very far. Highly recommend giving this a go.0 0 Reply

"Get served" system that provides everything and anything.Let's be honest. It's just godhood that gets "explained" with a lot of stupid nonsense filler. My mistake. No it's not godhood. A god wouldn't even consider an animal harem. It's just a m@strubation session of the author and everyone has to bear witness and rate his "performance" with 5 stars. No thank you.0 0 Reply

The story is alright later on, but the ending is horrendous. There are 30 extra chapters after the ‘ending’. These chapters dont even finish off what they were trying to complete, it ends on a cliffhanger. There are several plots which just dissentagrate in the ending and it feels rushed. like the author got bored of the story and hadnt thought the ending through. Like he reaches his goal and everything is quickly resolved and its like welp he reached his main goal bothing else matters...0 0 Reply
