A few years later she meets a woman named Evelyn and her brother Jonathan. They find a map to Hammunaptra, The City of the Dead. Jessie offers to take them there is they help her find her father, Rick O'Connel. They find him and at first, Evy and him don't get a long. Rick and Jessie take them to Hammunaprta, but with some difficulties. Once they get there they begin an expadition. There, Jessie meets a handsome yet mysterious man. She learns he is a medjai but he keeps telling her to leave and never return. Soon enough things get...bad.
