The premise is interesting but the actual story is garbage. MC doesn't just have (almost) unlimited mana, he's also the best at using every skill of every class. This is the case at the start of the story, so there isn't much strength progression, but there isn't much conflict either, other than some faceslapping. All in all, it's like "Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse0 0 Reply

When I picked this up on a whim, from the synopsis I thought this would be some game mechanic OP retardedness which would make me rage quit before I finished the first 5 chapters. I was totally wrong. First off the world building is left open ended since the MC is a student about to graduate. He doesn't have world experience to fall back on. But to the positive he realizes he doesn't and can look at situations without preconceptions? MC also does not have the stench of overwhelming cockiness which 97% of the MC's in your regular CN possess. Mysteries abound, hints and possibilities are foreshadowed in almost all the chapters. I enjoy a writer who can hint at and sketch in the scenery and characters layer by layer. All in all, a great start at 22 chapters. I hope it continues in this vein for many more.0 0 Reply

On the one hand, the story's good.On the other hand, the translation's kinda bad. No, it's *really* bad, particularly a few chapters in where the chat comments get messed up.If you can stomach that, though, it's a good read.0 0 Reply

I love this story. The protagonist, Wang Ping lives on an Island, where cultivation resources are few and far between. Not only that, but Wang Ping's cultivation talent is sadly lacking. On the plus side, he has a Spirit Beast Wolf companion and a magic clamshell that holds a small dimensional realm that he can retire to—and since spatial treasures are very hard to come by—and rather piddling—say 3-cubic yards—his small Island dimension also doubles as a bang-up storage device. Demon Beast Meat loses its power very quickly. if not stored in an interstitial device. Consequently, most Demon Beast Meat is left to rot by these shiftless—and storage-device-less—cultivators. Wang Ping, his Wolf and later his per Bird all thrive on large amounts of Demon Beast Meat that would otherwise go to waste—and his inner world also absorbs energy from the Demon remains and grows in power and size. IF I have any criticism at all, I think that Wang Ping is a bit overdue for another plot armor promotion in level. I hope this one gets picked. I'm curious what the clamshell world may evolve into.0 0 Reply

saw you were playing with the plot in the first few chapters. But I really love how the story progressed into something serious and complex. Solid world building, nice pacing and good character development. You really have something good going on here. With some editors and a good publisher, you might get a franchise or best seller. Probably a movie.0 0 Reply
