Ava's gut twisted with unease as she realized something terrible was unfolding before her. She instinctively turned away from the frantic exit, opting to plunge through the crowd in search of a different escape route.
Breathing heavily, she began maneuvering away from the chaotic mass of bodies when suddenly, the walls of the rink started to quake violently. The horrifying echoes of destruction filled the air, freezing her in her tracks.
Her blood ran cold as she slowly turned around, the screams growing louder and more horrifying. Tears streamed down her face silently, and her lips trembled as panic washed over her.
What she saw before her made her entire being freeze. Creatures of unimaginable horror were crawling out of the skate range exit, busy tearing people apart, one by one, with an eerie sort of efficiency, as if they were mere prey.
Their eyes glowed an unsettling red, and their skin was a sickening blend of mottled white. They had tails and two legs like humans, yet their powerful arms and menacing forms looked like something born from a nightmare.
Body trembling, Ava slowly took a step backward.
She wanted to scream but feared that any sound would attract the attention of the horrific creatures.
There were at least six of them, each one moving out of the skate range, clawing and tearing at anyone they could grasp. Tears continued to flow down her cheeks as her lips quivered in terror, her entire body shaking.
In that dreadful moment, she made a choice—she had to run. And that’s exactly what she did, turning around and sprinting away as fast as her legs could carry her.

    Super slow and boring. Immediately starts the first chapter with the fatty best friend. I’m so tired of these tropes and cliches. I wish IET could be a bit more original. Also, as others have mentioned, the incorrect way to use weapons really kills a lot of the potential hype. It just makes IET look dumb and stupid for not being able to Google things or go to a library and see how halberds or other weapons like a staff are used. Really bad and dumb so far and a waste. Really a let down.

    I am at Chapter 85 ... I just want the author to know that their are certain Chapters which is not at all needed or the contents of the chapters could have been shorted. Certain chapters is entirely composed of a single conversation between two entities ,eg the Campfire chapter or the four long chapters where the goddess shows the MC about his past , which definitely could have been shorted . Author most of us uses our passes to open the chapters , cause it's not free , And those chapters has to be worthwhile ... of course you can definitely give vivid discriptions and details and I absolutely love it ... But it's not like Chyralisis where chapters are free of Cost ... You are selling the book dear author... Gotta keep that in mind ..To everyone .. This is a good book with good English and the details of characters and world background is given vividly ... But this story is verrrrrrrrry slow paced ... Sometimes you will lose your cool as I did ... sometimes you will feel that more the Chapter is good but not worth your buck ...One can give it a shot ...And for the author.. If you want your Novel to be of High ranked , to get popular, to be acclaimed by your audience and get good pay for your work ... Please see the Chapters is worth the bang ..Once again it's a good novel .. just certain chapter messes up the Vive ..

    A very unique approach to story-telling. I can tell its going to be a great SoL read going ahead. The writing is very solid and keeps you immersed into the story even with its deep roots in reality, I am really looking forward to more!
