Many years later, countless people stood in front of a huge figure, black gas rising from its form, countless wailing shadows twisting around it.

“Today, we judge you on Heaven’s behalf, demon Chen Ping!”

“You will never fulfill your purpose!”

The crowd screamed and shouted, their voices filled with anger and desperation.

Chen Ping looked at them with emotionless eyes, as if their existence meant nothing. Then, his gaze shifted past them, locking onto the massive eye of ‘Heaven’ behind them.

His voice was calm, indifferent.

“I just want the sacrifice of the whole world to prove my way forward. Isn’t that a small request?”

He smirked slightly, staring straight into the eye, with a hint of mockery.

“After all, you’ve been consuming them for who knows how long. So tell me, what makes my feast any different from yours?”
