This novel irritated me so much. The author has to remind me non stop that the MC is by no means talented and comes from a common family etc.And no matter how many incredible power ups the MC gets, his friends etc always stay around his power level because plot armor. Also the MC is incredible dense, for god sake.. when you are 13-15 years old you do know whats going on between men and woman. Also, half of the story is filled with chapters about the MC eating so much and people reacting crazy to it + every fight there has to be paragraphs of golden dragon body transformation and dragon roar descriptions... It's just boring to be honest. There is a lot more irritating stuff like the stupid blacksmith chapters that are all more or less the same about him hammering alloys and shocking people about his young age and blacksmith star level. TLDR: This story got massive plot armor with a dense MC and lots of repetitive writing. Boring side characters who all have there secrets and author reminds you of those things all the time but it takes hundreds if not thousands of chapters and hundreds of author reminders before you get an explanation.0 0 Reply

The story got an interesting concept and the MCs goals and interests are refreshing and cool. Instead of going for world domination or power, he instead just want to complete his unacheived goal of hoarding 2 million diamonds. While I would always love a kingdom building novel this is great too in my opinion. The author does a decent job in giving the mc some personality as a hoarding gamer whose sole point of playing is to be the collector. There are a lot of downside to this novel tho, the world building is kind of odd, and it just doesn't really seem real. The fantasy world setting and the gaming mechanics just don't mesh well, and seem forced, and unreal. One example of this is the missions that the gaming system gives out. It happens out of the blue, and just destroys the already lacking world building, by forcing characters act certain ways. Overall, it's an ok read, wouldn't really recommend it tho. If you play and like gacha games I can see the appeal, but as someone with little to no interest in it, it's unable to draw my attention.0 0 Reply

This novel is somewhat better than the Turquoise Pond/Kunlun Saint novel, but not by much. The MC suffers from the same problems as the author's previous novel, that being:1. The MC is very reactionary and doesn't actively do anything. Our MC is in a demonic sect where 95% of the sect wants him dead, yet he just farms and doesn't take steps to reduce dangers in the future. Inevitably, our MC gets taken advantage of by someone then he gets revenge on them secretly. This is a recurring theme in this novel and happens every time new antagonists are introduced (every 30-50 chapters). It was interesting the first time, but having the same thing occur semi-regularly just shows that our MC isn't exactly that smart.2. The MC has no personality. Our MC doesn't feel any emotions, and he doesn't seem to have any desires whatsoever. The author tries to explain this away by saying the demoness fed him a Yang Gu (makes him only feel emotions for her) but that's just a bs excuse. You could replace the MC with a robot and almost nothing would change in this novel. I consider his lack of emotions/personality to be the biggest weakness of this novel.3. Everything our MC has is granted by the system, he doesn't have any unique skills or talents acquired by his own efforts/intelligence. Enough said.Even with all of these flaws, this novel is still one of the better novels in this site so I consider it to be a decent junk food novel. 3/50 0 Reply

"Yay!"Emilia beamed, skipping over to the small table to be fed. Aaron shook his head as he turned back to the food when he heard a knock from the front door. He froze, hand hovering against the stove dial as his ears perked up. There was another knock, steady, calculated, and with an irregular pattern and rhythm. Aaron wasn't expecting any visitors, especially not at this hour. Despite himself being a self described charmer he wasn't exactly friendly with anyone in his apartment complex, which made this situation all the more concerning. He swiftly turned the stove off before turning around to see Emilia's confused face. Aaron shot her a serious look and moved a finger to his lips.0 0 Reply
