He went to the market first. He was welcomed with various things sold there, such as local fruits, clothes, and even some accessories. Sadly, Karl was not a person who kept souvenirs from places he visited. He only bought new blankets, dried fish, fruits, and water. He was tempted to buy a wine, but he refused.
'Is that why I was so 'weak' in my past life? I didn't have people to love and care for, nor did I know the power those emotions. So I was weak and lost my entire life. Yet this time, I have those who I'm able to share that love with, and even though my strength had been granted to me already, I feel far stronger then when I first came into this world…is this my path?' Ryker thought to himself as he closed his eyes.
"Yes sire, of course." He dropped his eyes to the ground afraid to meet the stare he received. Taking off his cloak he tossed it the prince and backed away slowly.
Jill caught it and handed it to Rebecca as the medic and chemist before she began skimming through it, her face getting more and more disgusted as time went on
What a hidden gem. I love the characters and all their interactions especially between Caelum and Lunar, and it’s alos fun to see how prideful Caelum can be. Story is pretty interesting, although it does feel like its slowing down a lot more. The author’s writing style flows and is well structured, but sometimes they focus on specific details too much and because of that there are moments where it feels stale and like filler, pacing of the story seems pretty good so far. One thing is that sometimes Lunara seems too well adjusted and experienced with civilized society for someone who had never experienced it before. Another thing that kind of confuses me is the power scaling as well although that may just be due to the small number of characters we’ve been introduced to. Again though, the author has outdone themself with the writing of the characters, their interactions, and influence on the world, it all seems very realistic and that makes it immersive. One thing is that the world seems very small but that may just be due to the lack of places we’ve seen and lore revealed to us just yet. Looking forward to more, keep it up author!
