Guess I shouldn’t have expected much after reading your last novel. You seem to project your loser personality into your MC’s. Neither of them are the strong ones in the relationship.
There is another novel I can think of with a similar topic. Then you can build buildings technologically more advanced than the surrounding buildings and noone really bats an eye. I would think if metal structures popped out of a pudunk town other political entities would take notice. The main character is fine I guess. A bit annoying. The writing could be better, it's good enough I can read it but sometimes I'm a bit befuddled, dare I say, confused, lost, muddled, bewildered. The old guys are funny hehe.
