Lin Wei and Zong Shao had an arranged marriage. Despite being married for four years and having two children, they had always lived separately, making their relationship no closer than that of ordinary friends.

Lin Wei thought they would remain a “plastic couple” for life—until she had a dream while accompanying the army. In that dream, she discovered that her husband was actually the unattainable “white moonlight” of the female lead in a period novel. And she? She was his white moonlight.

In the novel, they had been betrothed since childhood, deeply in love as husband and wife. After her early passing, he spent the rest of his life longing for her and never remarried.

Upon waking, Lin Wei gazed thoughtfully at the expressionless man before her and thought:

So he actually loves me this much? Then maybe… I should love him back, just a little.

A “married first, love later” story set on an island, featuring child-rearing, daily life, and family dynamics. An alternate-history setting—please do not fact-check.

This novel started out well and had a promising outlook. But there's so many plotlines that were left ignored. Like what the heck happened to his significant other. Literally never heard from again. Worst of all is the last 40 or so chapters, they felt rushed and rather empty (even for this novel). I expected better, only to be disappointed. Granted that happened with most novels, it's rare that the final chapters are worthwhile. Typical Chinese ending in that regard.

after reading first few chapters... mc has low eq and iq. mc transported to other world by playing game. he got all equipment s in the game to use this world but canot use it because low level. funniest thing is he never checked he had game/status menu after transported. even after he can't use high level equipment. in second chapter he saved a person who backsttabed his friends for treasure. he even showed his space storage+ showed his wealth. I don't how he was sure he can save himself from backsttabing him. that man is from dog eat dog world. and mc is a ottaku with no experience.just reading few chapters I felt like my common sense being challenged multiple time. so I am quitting here.ps: I am sure this novel will be selected next week.may god bless this special readers.

Sergeant Boris asked the two young men who were standing in front of him while the other young man left the room, as if he were a bullet.
