Bloody-heeeell, this is really good, I have to say it. Ann-nim, you smash it, you really got it. From the cute dedication to the characters info and to the chapters... you got it. I felt locked in the story until the end, and I laugh out loud too. I'm really anxious about the next chapters, tbh. Idk how you didn't reach 100K yet, cuz this is incredible. I loved the way you write, really, it's fluid and refreshing. You made me love almost all the characters who have appeared until now and some who u just mentioned. You made me hate the scumbags who have appeared until now too lmao, and it's so cool. So guys, just go and read it, you don't know what you're missing.
I read till chpter 119. I have given this novel plenty of chances despite the rough beggining. The early plots were just the same as one novel i read before i think it ws i will kill the author. Despite this i gave it a shot as i wanted to see where this would go next. I was quite relieved that it was a good one since the mc was calm and smart. He was dense as a japanese beta mc thugh despite the author giving him background of having past relationships. But what ticked me off the most was the forced plot of character development. The authour wuld pull some bs reasons why the mc lost to the rank 2 and if that wasnt enough development he would beat him and lose to the rank one with another bs that the rank 1 awakened his second gift. Also the girls were somehow interested in him from the start with the reason of hes interesting well hes really not he was the weakest in the rank A class but somehow hes the point of interest. I would understand it nore if he was noticed after the fact of being promoted in rank faster than them. I especially hate the heroine Cecilia whose supposedly a sociopath that keeps fking with the mc. Overall, the plot in the beggining was ok even though it had similarities with the other novel and the flow of the pacing was great. The characters felt alive with each having thier on unique emotions sometimes getting along to each other and fighting when teasing one another. Ghe only problem I had was the forced plots for character development of the MC. Im sure it could have been done better the reasoning behind it was so unreasonable. Dont even get me started about the cringe speeches his friends gave him after he lost it felt so forced and out of place. On the other hand im also not a fan of having multiple entities behind the scenes manipulating the mc, one of which erased his fking memory when he got a gift and they were never mentioned again.
Mc works hard and isn't overpowered from the start and the conversation isn't cliché. The conversation was a bit forced in the start but gradually got better later on. And one thing I'm glad is the name of the familiar is kinda ok, unlike some others with really stupid name(Mostly those korean ln do). The fight scenes are good but not really that intense but sometime get anticlimactic ending and not really hyped enough.Overall, it's a great pick for passing time, but if you don't like academy genre, you will find this kinda boring for you(From the opinions of my friends I recommend.) The pacing is normal not too fast but not too slow either. If you want intense fight scenes, this might not be for you(I recommend Atticus's Odyssey, this one is really good with fighting scenes. Maybe try improve with this as reference, author). The romance is kinda ok, like typical academy novels. If you like Extra's Guide to Survival, you will love this. That's all. Meh!
