I've reached chapter 200 but I don't really like the way is written. I mean most of the MC enemies either bevome his allies or die from other causes or get away.

Okay, this is somewhat cute and somewhat silly. The boy who keeps teasing her behaves more like a little kid than a teenager and is quite dangerous with an anger management issue. However, in the end, he turned out to be a rather kind individual who looked after her when she needed support. Now, can a one-shot really be called a one-shot when it has around 64 pages? To me, this feels more like a complete manga rather than just a one-shot, yet Mangafox labels it as such. The length of the manga effectively built the tension necessary to keep a reader engaged, but it's not one I would revisit. It featured a somewhat unique storyline that was mildly intriguing, but ultimately, it revolved around a childhood love interest.

The artwork is decent, but the faces appear a bit chubby. I appreciate some of the styles they incorporated, but there are moments when they depict the characters as children that it looks rather bland. I understand the reasoning behind it, as it reflects the ambiguity in her mind regarding where her love lies. However, when the children look overly low-detailed and sometimes bony and long-legged, it somewhat detracts from the appeal of the art.

I'm giving this an 8 because if you take it as it is and don't compare it to anything else, it's just a short, simple, and sweet story of how a couple gets together. There was no unnecessary drama, no rivals, and no overly-extended conflicts, which is exactly what I was looking for and needed when I came across this manga.

    Breakdown:

6 for story because it's quite basic and straightforward, and nothing really groundbreaking or new.

7 for art because it's decent. Not bad, not exceptionally stunning.

8 for characters because I like them well enough. The female protagonist is caring and... actually, the male protagonist is caring too, in his own dual-behavior way.

8 for enjoyment (more like 8.5). Personally, I'm very grateful this piece exists, because I needed a story without a super dense main character, a rival who likes one of the protagonists, or excessive hesitation in revealing an identity. <p>
