I can still feel the sound of the music that played in that place, on that day.

On a whim, I uploaded a music video where I wore women’s clothes, but I unexpectedly became famous as a mysterious, high school girl net-musician (despite being a guy). I didn’t think I would be found out since my face wasn’t shown, but my high school music teacher – Hanazono Misao – discovered my secret and used that information to blackmail me.

And then, thanks to the three girls I met through Hanazono-sensei – the mad genius pianist Rinko, the flower-arranging princess drummer Shizuki, and the truant zashiki-warashi vocalist Akane – my bland and quiet grey high school life became full of colorful noise and trouble.

A boy-meets-girls story, filled with love, youth, and band!

I fell in love with this novel to an excessive degree. By chapter 7, the band has formed, and I'm eagerly anticipating more. I appreciate all the characters, even the supporting ones, which is unusual – they all feel well-developed, although their dimensions might be somewhat limited at this early stage of the story.

The narrative is fantastic, a simple yet charming tale. It revolves around a boy who meets his teacher, who then coerces him into assisting her, leading him to connect with his peers and grow as a musician. The translation is top-notch, considering it's from the Neosekai genre, ensuring a smooth reading experience without any noticeable issues.

If you're looking for a lighthearted story without romance at the moment, and enjoy engaging interactions between characters, this book is definitely worth giving a try.

"Undiscovered Gem: This exceptional novel holds a special place on my reading list. The author exhibits a deep understanding of music, which adds credibility to the storyline, unlike other works that merely rely on superficial premises about music, bands, or idol-centric narratives. The portrayal of musicians is refreshingly authentic, without resorting to clichéd character traits like instant virtuosos.

It's noteworthy that the protagonist's cross-dressing is not a gratuitous element; rather, it stems from manipulation by his sister, turning him into a renowned female musician against his will. The MC isn't portrayed as a musical deity, but rather a talented, relatable artist with room for growth, which adds intrigue to the plot.

All the female characters (FMCs) are strong, distinct, and often tease or challenge the MC, making for a dynamic dynamic. His average talent stands out among them, making him an engaging lead. The story combines elements of a harem, teacher-student romance, and heroic action, promising a compelling read."

So far, an engaging read. The protagonist experiences various challenges such as being crossdressed by his sister, blackmailed by his teacher, and bullied by his bandmates, yet the narrative progresses steadily. I'm eagerly anticipating more chapters to be released.

I must say, based on the single chapter I've read, this novel undoubtedly deserves a spot among the excellent ones. The translation is quite clear, and the storyline appears intriguing. Normally, I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share this to encourage more people to take notice.

This book has instantly risen to the top of my all-time favorites on this platform, like a oasis in a sea of generic isekai and overused romance cliches. I can't get enough of it, and I just wish the chapters were released more frequently. The character growth, storyline, and conversations are incredibly engaging and enjoyable – truly a breath of fresh air compared to what I've been reading lately.

It's commendable, but there's an inexplicable void. It's as if the author has written a fantastic book without fully grasping what makes it exceptional. It feels like sheer chance that they managed to dodge common pitfalls, turning it into a decent read. One misstep, and it could easily devolve into a clichéd harem story for uninteresting characters, appealing only to those who follow trends blindly.

Yes, it's good, but when all I can see is how similar it is to subpar light novels and isekai manga, I can't help but wonder – what sets it apart? What unique purpose does it serve in this sea of mediocrity?

At first glance, the story's synopsis appears rather formulaic, but appearances can be deceiving. The author has an uncanny ability to transform a common storyline into a literary gem. Although the narrative is straightforward, the execution is exceptional, allowing readers to deeply connect with the characters and their relationships throughout the tale. Each heroine boasts a unique personality, avoiding any sense of redundancy among them. The main character, or MC, stands out as the perfect finishing touch.

The pacing issue I have is the slow translation speed; it seems unlikely to reach completion anytime soon. Let's remain hopeful for a positive outcome.
