In the depths of a cursed reflection, truth and deception blur into one.
Vivian Sinclair never believed in the supernatural—until the day she moved into Blackthorn Manor, an old estate shrouded in unsettling whispers and forgotten secrets. A long-forgotten mirror hidden within the greenhouse awakens something inside her, something that shouldn’t exist beyond the glass. A shadow of herself stares back, watching, waiting.
At first, the visions are subtle—flickers of movement when no one else is there, a whisper of her name in the dead of night. But as the days pass, the haunting presence becomes undeniable. Her reflection begins to move on its own, revealing memories she never lived, secrets she never uncovered, and a version of herself she doesn’t recognize.
Sebastian Graves, a scholar obsessed with the manor’s dark past, warns her that some mirrors do more than reflect—they remember. And the one in Blackthorn Manor doesn’t just hold history; it holds something alive. Something that wants out.
As the lines between reality and illusion fracture, Vivian realizes she isn't just being haunted—she is being rewritten. The more she resists, the stronger the presence grows, feeding off her fears, her doubts… and her lies.
Because the darkest truths aren’t the ones buried in the past. They’re the ones we tell ourselves.
And in the end, the mirror never lies.
But Vivian might.

Loved this story. It was a great read, most esp seeing as its not what I'm used to.The story line was good and the chapter length as well. The author did a great job, although there were some errors here and there. But what can I say, nobody is perfect.0 0 Reply

The best thing I find here is the writing quality since it is so easy to understand and detailed. The details are hard to understand in some books but here that's not the case.I see a chapter every day so the updates look stable. The story looks well thought and the characters look fine too... (Just read the synopsis guys, if this isn't a unique plot, what is?)The world background, the time intervals between the events everything is also written well.Overall, I really think it's a good story with a unique plot and good writing. Keep up the good work :)0 0 Reply

Writing Quality - 3/5 - It is a good read but it's painful to read each paragraph. For example, you always wrote in...Smiling wryly, (Name) bla bla blaNext paragraph: Looking at the interface, (Name,) bla bla blaNext paragraph: Sucking a cold bla bla, (Name) bla blaCritics: Next time, change the way you wrote for a better read, cause every paragraph is painful to read because as soon you made a paragraphs every time you made a comma ', ' the next word you wrote is always the mc name or side character name; After the comma making it cringe to read.Stability of update: 5/5 - Not much to say since the author put effort to update every day.Story Development: 4.5/5 - Minus 0.5 for the mc.Character Design: 4/5 - Minus 1 for the misinformation in the early chaps for the character design. I don't want to be racist so let's just wrap it up in mystery. World Background: 5/5- Very Good!*****Overall: It's a good read, definitely recommended for those wanted a humorous r18 novel. Some paragraph mistakes, typos, and misinformation. But it is still an enjoyable read. Definitely 5/5 for the author for creating such a brilliant work.0 0 Reply
