I like this and while not as reward rich as insinuated the rewards are top notch and suitable to his situation I'm looking forward to future chapters .
What makes this manga good to me is that the main character doesn't start overly OP. The griffin helps the story out by being a good partner instead of another love interest as well as, he makes the manga more light-hearted. Finally the main love interest is someone who won't be another damsel in Distress.
