Instead, it\'s a hellhole where players from all walks of life live out their lives according to the whims of quest objectives, experience points, and an almost always-invisible Game Master always pulling at strings.

Ethan\'s system is special, giving him power over redoing the very fabric of Eryndor. However, he has no clue as to what it does and what he cannot do. Assisting him in learning his newfound abilities are a rather motley crew of adventurers who appear to view his powers as some sort of asset on their quest to find answers to the world, impossible odds, and solving the mysteries of the Fractured Realms—zones that contain secrets capable of rewriting rules in the game itself.

But as Ethan probes deeper, it is increasingly evident that this isn\'t a game. It\'s a crucible-and the price of failure far greater than anyone had imagined.
