My Love Mix-Up!

I have given a review for this novel before, but that one isn't very fair. I was relieved that Webnovel have started to use Chinese names again for MC's names (as it should be!). Since I have read this book and actually enjoy it, I'm going to give this a fair review. For me, this is one of the best novel from this batch's Trial Read. It's relaxing and lighthearted, so no battle and not much romance here. MC is an excellent university graduate and had been working in a company for one or two (?) years. But someday, he gets tired of living that kind of life (corporate slave *cough*) and decided to go back to his hometown. His hometown is situated in a seaside, so people there are mostly fishermen. He goes back to his house and finds a mysterious object (the heart of the ocean) that gives him the ability to swim better, promote his constitution and senses, and know a LOT about marine creatures. He uses this ability to catch rare fish, lobsters, and many other seafood. He heals and gains two animal companions. He also reconnects with his childhood friends and people from the village. For now (25 chaps), his goal is to use his ability to develop this village and its people. World's similar to ours, with some hint of supernatural (the object and the mysterious disappearance of villagers). The characters are average, with a usual childhood friend sidekick and rich business woman as a buyer of his fish. MC is not dumb and still quite rational. Overall, this is quite a pleasant read.

The author doesn't seem to know what kind of story this should be.So, imagine a cultivation world. Is it a cultivation story? No, the main character dies. But they are reborn in a different world. Oh, it's an isekai? No, they return to their first world through a VRMMO. Hey, that's the title of the story! But they also get a system, with an AI, and nobody else has that. But it's not really a system story either.Many threads are brought up, but abandoned before they can do anything interesting. The game prevents the MC from using their prior cultivation techniques. Oh, but there might be workarounds (through the shadow clone, or eaching others). Is the MC going to do something clever to get their old techniques back? Nope, once he gets the system that restriction goes away. Nevermind then.He wants to take his human-form snake followers and take over the criminal underground. Sounds exciting! Just kidding, he dumps them on the side of the road. I guess the snakes are off in the interesting story, while we just follow the terrible MC around.Everything is like this. Oh, there's an annoying girl at school that the MC keeps rejecting but she won't get the message. Just kidding, the MC totally loves her now. Let's get married on the first date.My point is, there are deep problems with the story. The author often retcons their own story (protip: rather than add stuff to the *past*, you can actually go back and edit those chapters when those events were the *present* and put your changes there), So the foundation is constantly shifting. And that's not even touching on the many grammatical and other mistakes. I suspect the author is not very experienced in English. But even if an editor fixed these problems, the story problems would remain.The premise is interesting, but other stories have used this same premise much more effectively. The earlier chapters are OK, but there is a drop in quality later.This story can best serve as a rough outline for what the author really wants, but they have to figure that out. Finish this story, but don't drag it out. Then start rewriting it, after you have a firmer grasp of the overall plot.

the greatest legend i ever read seriously it has all there that u need for example action, a little romance, suspense, thriller etc. i recommend everyone to read this.although there are cliches but still it is better than all the other novels out there.

Heyyah!!!      One thing that I'd say is that this book caught my attention from the very first look of the synopsis 👀❤️ To clean & clearly say is, that I love this  book from the first sight. Good writing quality. Hope the author improves more in the future. Never stop writing ☺️ 🤝🏻 The more you write the more you improve ✨      I'm not sure about the updating stability, for it is a book that is still lacking contents and saying that, it's new so it's understandable❣️ But... so far I love the story development and the character designing ✨🤝🏻❤️ Usually, a system plotted book always brings out an interruption but this book didn't. This is one of the best books on this app, it perfectly integrates the apocalypse and cultivation genres with amazing action and world building.

Writing quality is 5/5. Update stability is 5/5 Story development is 5/5 Character design is 5/5 World background is 5/5What more can I say?Yes I am a serial reviewer. Bite me.
