Moreover, he could retrieve the identities he achieved in different parallel lives and apply them in his current life!
Genius young writer, martial arts stuntman, Michelin three-star chef, Olympics decathlon champion, mad scientist… Each time Xu Yuan was bored with a certain identity, he would go back to the Life Reset Simulator again.
A new life journey would then start.
As such, in the eyes of others, a mysterious man who was capable of all things was born.

Well written but excruciatingly uninteresting. As usual this novel is very generic and doesn't even attempt to distinguish itself from every other simulator novel out there but that isn't my biggest gripe with this.

Ever since the MC simulated the life where he writes a novel, everything feels incredibly bloated, boring and unnecessarily detailed. I don't mind the whole novel writing gimmick, what I do mind is that you could have condensed all of that nonsense into 3 chapters easily.

I for the first time ever in a trial read very quickly skimmed through most of it but unsurprisingly lost none of the essence of what happened. This novel's unjustifiably enormous self indulgence is baffling and just ruined whatever little it had going for it. 0.25/5.

Awesome novel. The beginning is awful, but if you persist to at least chapter 23, then you would be captivated by this novel. The only unfortunate thing is that it is clear that this novel would get better as more chapters are released, so it won't be satisfying to read early on with few chapters released. The premise of the story is that MC would get the ability to have a life simulation and for the first two free simulation it would be realistic that MC won't have a great outcome since he's just beginning to learn the rules. The MC would be given a summary in the third free simulation that wouldn't have a good outcome, but the good thing is that it's not final. If MC decides to synch with the simulation he would have the chance to change the outcome for better or worse. I'm not saying this novel is the best, but it is definitely a recommended read and would hopefully pass the trial phase and have more chapters released.

I mean so far it’s just another urban parallel world where the Mc just copy’s all the famous novels on Webnovel. So it’s kind of dull atm, but who knows maybe he’ll branch out and copy other industries in the future.

I really really want to like this novel. It is well written and the characters aren't too bland even though they don't matter at all in the next arc.

But there are some key problems that make it impossible:
    1. The second short story (simulated life) within this novel is a festival of cliques and not interesting at all.
    2. Face slapping is a sport and while the MC doesn't always take the first opportunity to do it, it will always happen in the end.
    3. There is no red line, no overarching goal for the MC to achieve.
    4. The system by itself is reducing any stakes to almost nothing. I don't mean for the author to add something stupid like, immediate death or destruction of the soul, but there could at least be monetary losses or some kind of debuffs.
    5. The author drags on and on about unimportant stuff, skipping chapters is sometimes the only way to still gain a modicum of enjoyment.
