Li Qingzhi, having lived alone in the apocalypse for many years, was a pitiful man who starved to death, only to be reincarnated into ancient times where he was dragged away to dig stones, and then tragically died of illness upon returning home alive.

In this world, food was abundant! And this man even had a wife and two children!
Li Qingzhi stuffed everything he saw into his mouth and wouldn’t let go of his wife—she was such a soft and warm living person! Oh, how beautiful and gentle his wife was!
And those two dirty children in his family were simply the most adorable in the world!
The renowned tough woman of the Miaoqian Village, Jin Xiaoye: “…”
The mischievous twins of the Miaoqian Village: “…”

***

The villagers of Miaoqian Village knew that the man from the Li family who had been forcibly taken away was back home alive, but had become foolish.
He laughed foolishly all day, stuck to his wife and children, and even when scolded, he just smiled happily without getting angry!
In his excitement, Li Qingzhi thought: This person is really lively, completely different from zombies!

***

Everyone thought Jin Xiaoye was pitiful. After finally bringing the man back, she spent a lot of money to cure him, only to end up with him becoming a fool.
But they never expected that this fool would actually pass the imperial examination all the way, and become the top scholar.

Ending is too abrupt and did not tie up loose ends. What’s Henry’s relation to the king and what he asked him to take care of. How will the family reintegrate? What happened to Kathleen? Stephen? On the positive side, the book is complete, not too long, making the cost predictable.

this story is honestly weird... a dude gets a system that allows him to bring whatever technology he wants to the past in order to help his country, Commonwealth or Poland, to become a world power. The author is clearly patriotic towards his country, and keeps saying how living in modern times is worst than in the past. I honestly don't understand how he keeps this reasoning. He talks as if the world stole everything from Poland and that modern society is inferior or wathever he cooks up. He's even weirdly patriotic to a supposed country that collapsed about 200 centuries ago. He keeps saying that modern people have lost all morals and that people in the past were more honest.

This novel is No doubts the best written translated CN novel out there , although there is cultivation it by no means make the MC a one man army .This novel focus more on the interactions between the MC and the Highly interesting and intriguing cast of characters , making it depends more on wit and cunning rather than brute force like most otger CN novels with a very nice and fitting world background. Please take in consideration that this is rather the slow paced novel since story starts out from MC child days .Overall this is a great novel and for those of you averse to the harem tag , Fear not the harem is extremely well implemented and nothing feels more natural  nor it is forced with unrivalled beauties wanting the MCs babies left and right.

Decent story but infrequent updates really hurts credibility and you will probably not finish the story in this lifetime..........................................................................

The storywriting is okay but the author seems to add way too much details. Like, around half of a chapter is mostly just them describing things.

This book is worth a read. Although the grammar isn't the best and in some cases the choice of words are quite bad. But it isn't that bad that it disrupts the flow of the novel. Giving the author a 5 star to encourage him
