My Gene System

Decently good novel but it is filled with grammar errors and my personal pet peeve getting the male and female pronouns reversed ……………………………

Novel is quiet interesting in my opinion.....
1. Writing quality is upto standards, just that there are some mistakes here and there in spellings like calling a male her and a female him.
Some sentence structures are not properly structured...
like you can change, "There is not something will happen to him" to
" Don't worry, Nothing will happen to him "etcetc.
2. Story is also developed well till now....nothing much to say, you can see the gist of the story from the synopsis and read it....
3. Character design is also detailed, nobody seems like  2 dimensional character...though you can try giving some characters some inner thoughts and could also give them some backstories to make them appear more real to the readers.
4. For now updating stability is also well, as can seen from 8 ch/ week on the front page.
5. Don't know much about world background....I mean it's just starting afterall......
Overall nice work from Author San.

When I read the synopsis, I suddenly remembered a side character from an anime who had the ability to copy other abilities, and seeing as how the MC also has something similar going on, I couldn't help but be interested to read more.
I rarely read novels in this genre but I like this one.
The storytelling keeps you interested and the plot looks solid.
I'll definitely recommend reading this!

You thought that this will be the successor of vampire/werewolf/(and the likes) system? Well, not quite...

The plot and writing is bland at best and still wondering why the mc must have to be japanese and his personality wasn't that of a striking man he is either. The constant

is really unnecessary and the first chapter could be make up better. The author didn't do daily update like what his profile would say so I don't really likes where it was going.

I won't stop you all who reading this from trying this book, it's just a matter of preference. So much for first winner of wpc.

Good luck for the author tho, don't take this review to heart, try reading some great book out there, even there was plenty on this website, best of luck.

Overall, story isn't bad. Plot seems believable, but some parts are kind of rushed. Please get a good editor and fix all those grammar mistakes - don't just use google translate or thesaurus. Also, don't drag out and mansplain too much.

The beginning of the story reminds me a bit of the manga "Hakaijuu". Minus the end of the world part hehehe.
The plot is great as are the ways the author describes the characters and setting.

pretty average, not bad, not too good, just alright for a quick read. still a new book so I guess it could get better with enough time and more chapters
