Not what I was looking for.Let's start with the good things - grammar is pretty good, updates are frequent, most of the characters are believable.Unfortunately, I can't read a story where an MC should be a 32 yo man, but behaves according to his new age of 12. Literally nothing of his behavior suits his alleged mental age. And when I see a teenager protagonist I drop the story on the spot, no exceptions. The story also has a dense teenager romance going on, which is always a turn off. Oh, and the system has mandatory quests with punishments for failing aka the worst kind of system. But system stuff is not a focus of the novel and generally only used to show people's stats, so that part is bearable.
So far, I enjoy the story but the writing can be hard to follow at times. Character aren’t fleshed-out and the world seems to be lacking a lot of details. Grammar could be better. Will update rating if writing improves.
A few bits of information if you even want to proceed with reading this novel :(-) MC is slow to adapt and he is a “wimp”, meaning if you came here for an actual villain this isn’t the novel you want or if you came here for an intelligent and calculating MC also do not read this book(+) The premise of the story is interesting where you get this fantasy world with Gods, Adventurers (Players), Classic ranking systems like Silver, Gold, Platinum(*) The characters are decent, the novel is set in first person and thus heavily relies on dialogue and interactions for you to know more about them which unfortunately means World Background takes a few points off despite an interesting setting due to the fact that it is strictly first person with lack of early-novel exploration events(*) Writing quality is decent for a webnovel nothing much to say though the main issues are typos which isn’t that bad====••===••===••===••===••===••====Writing Quality : 3.5/5 nothing crazy but not horribleUpdating Stability : 5/5 its still updating with a good amount of chapters to read[Slow-Paced] Story Development : 3/5 its ok, the MC does get around to doing things but its nothing much and at the moment hes still within the starter area Character Design : 3/5 not a personal fan of the MC but it does make for more “danger” when it comes to him going outWorld Background : 4/5 unexplored for the most part but has a lot of potential ================================Tips for the author :- It helps to switch between the MC and the people he has interacted with in order to develop characters and the world more easily and it also lets us take a break from prolonged firstperson view which can be exhausting and boring to read- Fix typos- Lots of world potential and character potential so capitalize on it
The narrative is very smooth so I could imagine each scene clearly, and it isn't so copious that I get bored. The words they use are particularly great and make me understand the feelings of the characters. The author interestingly creates the game online world with its system that is kinda odd, but good tho. Anyhow, the overall is worth reading!
"Let's stop this nonsense talks ah. We can continue reminiscing the past later after the banquet, for now, we must celebrate for XuanRong's arrival. Yes! Let's celebrate! Where are the servants? Come, bring out the food! Start the performance!"
