Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would be a simple romance with a decent plot. Unfortunately, the story turned out to be rather average. The characters, particularly the female lead, lack depth, and their motivations are either shallow or completely absent.
It's been about a week since I finished reading it, and I already struggle to recall any specific details. There just isn't much substance to hold onto.
The art style is intricate, but it often makes the pages feel cluttered. Some scenes also feature odd anatomy, though overall, the visuals are passable.
If you're a fan of the art style, you might enjoy flipping through the manga, but don't anticipate a profound narrative or meaningful character interactions. Personally, I wouldn't reread it and can't recommend it, as there are far better romance manga options worth exploring instead.

It wasn't very engaging at the start, but as the narrative progresses, it draws you in.

This is Arina Tanemura's typical style.
Character: 7
Hourai Mikado - a smart and serious boy who is actually quite childlike inside. He's confused about his feelings.
Tsubaragi Ion - a cheerful, cute, and kind girl who is in love with Mikado. There's nothing particularly outstanding about her, except for her psychic powers.
Minase Ai - Mikado's ex-girlfriend. She possesses psychic powers and tried to compete with Ion.
Kouki Shiraishi - a long-haired guy who is in love with Ion. He dislikes both Mikado and psychic powers and is always chasing after Ion.
Enjoyment: 6
Overall: 6
Not Arina Tanemura's greatest work, but I wouldn't say it's terrible either. Since it only has 6 chapters, there's no harm in giving it a read.
The artwork within this manga is instantly recognizable and emblematic of Tanemura's style—large eyes, intricately detailed hair, and characters sharing similar facial features and personalities. Tanemura has not veered far from the aesthetic she applies to her other characters.
Here we find the spirited protagonist with long hair, surrounded by friends, an average-looking guy, a long-haired bishounen, a peculiar individual, a cheerful companion, a nerdy figure, and so on. Essentially, this is where it all began in terms of character design.
As a first story, it holds up well, aligning with expectations from this author. However, viewed independently, it’s a standard shoujo narrative where the girl falls in love first, while the male lead remains oblivious, complicated further by another girl competing for his attention. There is indeed a rival for the male interest, though he plays a minor role, serving primarily as comic relief and a catalyst to unite Mikaido and Ion.
The plot is straightforward, elucidating Ion's bond with her good luck charm and her psychic powers triggered by Mikado's substance. For a brief story, it functions effectively without needing additional details. Still, it would be intriguing to delve deeper into Ion's father beyond the convenient "He’s the scientist whose work Mikaido builds upon! And coincidentally..." trope. Despite this, it's endearing and enjoyable, requiring little deep thought due to its predictability.
If you're curious about Tanemura's inaugural story, this is certainly worth exploring. On its own, it's simply a delightful tale of love and telekinesis!
